Two New Schools in Cambodia

In February this year, we had an amazing response from supporters partnering with us to fund the building of two new schools in Cambodia. In nine days we raised the target of $90,000, to enable us to match a grant from an embassy in Cambodia. The timing was critical to enable us to access the embassy grant.

Currently students in these villages attend school in dilapidated old shacks. They try to study in classrooms like the typical old school photos below.

This exciting project will benefit 500 students by the end of this year when the two schools, similar to the photo below, is completed. We have worked with staff and local villagers through the consultation phase of these schools in Damnak Korkoh and Lbauk Svay villages, and now the construction has started.

Thank you for your support both in prayer and financially. We will continue to update you on the progress of these two schools over the coming months.
